The Backscatter M52 wide-angle wet lens was designed with the Olympus TG Series 1 through 7 cameras in mind. With a 120-degree angle of view, sharp corners, and no vignetting at 24 mm, this lens is the perfect choice for anyone shooting wide-angle photos with a TG camera for the first time.

120° field of view

Shipwrecks, stingrays, sharks, reefs, divers. These are the subjects for which you need a wide-angle lens. A wide-angle lens allows you to get closer to your subject while still capturing a wide field of view, and it enhances the clarity and contrast of your image.

24 mm, no vignetting, sharp corners

The Backscatter M52 wide-angle wet lens was designed for use with cameras with a 24-mm equivalent focal length. Other wide-angle wet lenses exhibit vignetting (dark or clipped corners) at 24 mm, which must be corrected by zooming, and have blurry corners. The Backscatter M52 lens has no vignetting at 24 mm and produces sharp corners.
In addition, the dome’s glass is coated with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and lens reflections in your images.

Zoom bar for closer shots

Depending on the camera you're using, you can utilize up to 75 % d of the camera's internal zoom range, allowing you to adjust the frame and take closer shots without having to remove the wide-angle lens.

Easy to use

The lens can be screwed directly onto any Olympus TG housing from Series 1 through 6; no adapters are required. An ergonomically shaped silicone grip makes it easy to attach. The lens hood rotates smoothly and easily, offering the perfect balance between tension and ease of use, without the need for tools.
