Backscatter developed the Mini Flash 2 and the optical snoot with the goal of making photography with a snoot as easy as possible. Thanks to the bright LED lights, which project the same beam pattern as the flash through the snoot, you can see the exact position of the snoot’s beam on the subject. This way, you know you’re hitting your target when you take the shot.

Wireless Remote Control

Adjust the flash output of a remote Mini Flash 2 from a master Mini Flash 2—all without any cables. Remotely trigger Mini Flashes using the included Lightpipe. Perfect for off-camera snooting, side lighting, and backlighting. Use an optional IR filter to prevent the triggering flash from appearing in your photos.

High-Speed Synchronization

Shoot faster than your camera's flash sync speed with the aperture wide open to achieve a silky-smooth bokeh while keeping the background dark.
